Calling all suppliers!

If you wish to supply goods or services to Restaurant école, you need to understand the ethos of our company. Our customers are between 3 to 11 years of age - they may have small voices individually, but Restaurant école will be a large voice on their behalf. We are keen to protect their interests and we therefore have a range of criteria that we expect potential suppliers to fulfil before we will do business with them. You will need to understand our market, and the overwhelming driver should be to provide healthy meals for children.

"What a tremendous start to our new partnership! Never have so many children been so happy eating their school meal! Due to the extreme number of children having school meals this week we have had to adopt the "continental style" for our lunchtime. With over 320 children to feed this has surely got to be a record for both Restaurant école and Merryhills. Long may it last and keep feeding our hungry children with such wholesome food."

Our philosophy is about making a difference. If children are served with the best ingredients, their parents will then want to shop with you as well and this is why we are working with local suppliers instead of national corporates: the service is always better, and your produce is often likely to be used by your customers or their children! We're also ensuring that we're putting something into the community so everyone can benefit.

We have banned a range of additives in our fresh school food: if you're interested in supplying us with ingredients, we'll want to make sure that you don't use these additives under any circumstances. You can find out more about these on our website.
