Healthy eating can be fun...

Francois goes back to school

Pupils learn that lunchtime with Restaurant école is fun too!

Our menus are designed so that the food is recognised by young customers, and our fruit tasting or freshly baked bread session is mouth watering, and themed events fun! All enhance the learning process with new foods to try.

Our intention, after starting a contract, is to replace all convenience food within a 3 month period daily with freshly-cooked, locally sourced food.

Francois, our nutritionist Avidey and "Sid the pig", can be seen around classrooms on a regular basis, children definitely not only learn, but have fun too!

Your feedback...

"I just wanted to let you know that I had loads of parents telling me how much their children enjoyed their first lunch in the restaurant yesterday. It was very exciting to see the children tucking in. Please let the rest of your team know that there are lots of happy children and parents in East Finchley ... Thanks for a great start."

Food is important

Fresh food smells, looks and tastes better than anything from a packet or tin or even pre-cooked. The early introduction to "home made food", we believe, gives excellent grounding for future life skills, health and education.

Many future social benefits will be acquired from developing knowledge of one of our greatest pleasures, well cooked fresh food!

The earlier the start the greater the enjoyment! Good food is a basic right, not a luxury, for Restaurant école operated catering services.

Food for Health

Restaurant école believes providing fresh, nutritious food forms an essential part of the service, or life style we offer.

Restaurant école recognises that we have an important role too in promoting a healthy diet. An appropriate intake of food energy and fresh natural nutrients in a child's growing years is vital to their future health and well being.
